Word of the day: COMPROMISE—accepting standards that are lower than what is desirable
Going along to get along, or to be liked, is the worse kind of compromise. Why? Because it means you’ve given up something that you value to please someone else. The reason maybe you want to be liked or you want to avoid conflict. Whatever is your motivation, to do this leaves you feeling discontent and disconnected from your heart/your voice. Over time you become demoralized as you lose more of you. And, over time those you compromise your heart/your voice for, will devalue you.
Stand up and speak up for what your heart knows to be your truth.
You’re a healthier happier you when you speak and live what’s in your heart boldly and fiercely with kindness.
