Betraying yourself is being unfaithful to the authentic you. The you with all your weaknesses, quirks and flaws. The you with all your strengths, uniqueness and flawsomeness.
When was the last time you said something unkind to yourself? Maybe even using words you’d never use to someone else.
Or, have you been unkind or unloving to yourself, not extending to yourself the grace and compassion you’ve extended to others?
Do you give yourself credit for what you’re good at?
Until you begin being faithful to yourself and embracing you in your totality, you will not attract the right people in your life or live your life from the core of your authentic self or fulfill your purpose.
A few months ago I wrote about the selfishness of transformation in that the process requires a determined surrender to completely die to any form of you that would prevent you from transforming to the woman/man you’re becoming.
