I went apple picking for the first time! It rained but that didn’t stop me from climbing trees to fill my bag with the choicest of apples. Topped it off with freshly-made apple cider and delish apple donuts. Yummy 😋
There were pumpkins of all sizes and shapes, some painted with adoring smiley faces. There were gourds of all sizes and shapes, there was even a ‘flock’ of swan gourds.

I tried to go apple picking this weekend, but many of the orchards here are already out of apples. Apparently we had a bad crop this year due to the unseasonably cold weather this spring, which harmed the apple buds and blossoms.

Oh yeah, we did have that unseasonably cold spell early in the season. Sorry you didn’t have a good experience. Hopefully next year, if Mother Nature complies, will be better. Cheers 🍎
