Hydrangeas are among some of my favourite flowers. I just planted a couple outside the front of my house last year and am debating whether to add more.

The blooms for our hydrangeas are white. But I’m thinking it might be nice to add a bit more colour 🙂

You really make me want to get some hydrangeas Dawn. They were one of my mother’s favorite (the blue/periwinkle/purple ones). 🌺💐🌻 If these are in your garden, girl I bow down to your green-thumb perfection! 👍🏻

Oh you should get some, in honor of your mom. They’re quite hardy. And so pretty. I planted those last year. They’ve just started to bloom. There are some much older ones that haven’t bloomed in 2 years but I think I’ve found the fix thanks to another blogger who gave me tips. Let’s see.
I hope you get a plant or two.

The one I wrote to you about are still flower-less. Fingers crossed that will change with the fertilizer.

It could be that they didn’t set flowers last year or were pruned out. Might have to wait until next year and leave some stalks to bloom as I advised. Hoping for good results!
