  1. Oh what a sweet haiku Dawn. 🙏🏼 I have a monstera too that I’ve had for about 17 years or longer. My girl is getting old and she is becoming one long vine that I have wrapped around support poles. She still unfolds new shoots, still stands tall, but she is not as full as she used to be. Half of her top snapped off a few years back. I will have to contemplate one day on what to do with ole girlfriend. 🍃🌱🌿

        1. Teehee 😹 on the high maintenance. That’s why when I thought of a pet under covid lock down the best I could muster is to get a fish. Turned out it was more maintenance than i thought but certainly lower than a dog or cat. So I 100% agree on low maintenance!!!

But 17 years for a plant is no easy feat so kudos 🎊🎉🎊queen

          1. Well, my queen plant got a little top heavy when I tried to move her to put more support under her twice in the past years. So she would have been triple the size she is now had that not happened. But still, she takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’! 😜💖😍 But as you know, that’s how queens roll! 👑

    1. I’m so happy. Every plant/flower that thrives under my care is one more point of redemption for those days my green thumb had not yet kicked in and a a few plants’ lives ended prematurely. #PlantRedemption 😊
