There’s always room for more—the sweetest of creations
Drawing eyes to menu in just the right section
The spacial spread of delectable selections
Cakes, puddings, pastries, creamy confections
Salty, savory, creamy, crunchy elaborations
Deep-fried, baked, and even frozen options
Tastes and textures, varying in expressions
Laced in sugary, fatty delightful seductions
Calories sending sensory in overdrive sensations
Oh, but oh, they satisfy though little in nutrition
But aren’t they the food of the gods of ancient civilizations?
Serve me then—DESSERTS—oh what gratification
No matter how many courses in consumption
