Wrapped In Black ©Dawn Minott |a Dectina Refrain

Black,

She moves

Calmly, in

Her beauty, bold

No shadows she flows

In quiet strength she grows

Wrapped in mystery, untold

Essence spills, her truth unfolds

A heart deep, a soul’s revelation

Black, she moves calmly, in her beauty, bold

I I don’t know what to say, except that I was blown away. I am astounded by the breath and depth of your knowledge of this discipline. There is an ease with which your words embody the styles to which you expose us. THANK YOU!

    1. Thank you so very much. I’ve been practicing this form. I was asked for a poem on the spot this weekend at an and this form was my savior. Wrote it in about 10 minutes. Thanks for your POSITIVE & VERY SUPPORTIVE response. Cheers 🎉🙏🏽🎉
