You, Me, We
Are but one of millions, like starlings
Swooping across a globe in flux
You, Me, We
Intricately coordinated in journey
Creating program formations to aid a world ever changing
You, Me, We
Connecting human rights, equality, justice
Leaving no “starling” behind
You, Me, We
Maintaining cohesion
Sensing uncertainty, figuring out change
You, Me, We
Group cohesiveness balancing
Individual efforts commending
You, Me, We—US, optimizing balance, maintaining consensus
You, Me, We—UNITED in nations’ service
You, Me, We—COLLECTIVE in our humanity
You, Me, We—UBUNTU—because you are I am

Funny how there are really no coincidences and there REALLY is only one of us here; spiritual beings living a human experience, with all of us having the same experiences; be it man problem, pickney problem, car problem, the need for love, acceptance, belonging, etc. I am working with this programme called Conversations for Greatness (CFG) of which Ubuntu is a part; and the story of a group of children from an African tribe who surprised a visiting Anthropologist who told them he wanted them to play a game, and placed a basket full of juicy fruits near a tree and told them all that whoever got there first, would win all the fruits. However, they ran to the fruits arm in arm, then sat down and ate the fruits together. When asked why they did that, when just one person could have won it all; they said why should one person be happy, when all the others would be sad? Ubuntu; I am because you are!!
