Enter a world where playful creatures monkey around
Their cute antics unfurling, dogging about, pet lovers surround
Cats not to be outdone, skittish and playful, pussyfooting about
There’s even a pig—yeah, you guessed it—he’s pigging out
Some days we need a bare hug, sadness to erase
Like bears bear-hugging their friends in a warm embrace
Animals joyful glee, bounce about kangarooing
Never slowing down a whimsical world of cavorting
Don’t bug me, this is a tale of animal’s “verbifying”
They horse around, that there is no denying
So let’s honor nature’s creatures weaseling out lessons unconfined
Through animal “verbifying” let our poetry flow, unwind
For in this dance of words we’ll find connections true
Larking between the animal world and the human—me and you
