Thank You ©Dawn Minott

Beforeword: Here in the northern hemisphere, winter is almost upon us. Before she blankets all in cold and snow, here’s to Mother Nature and her summer-to-fall bounties.

Thank you sunshine —for golden rays so bright
Chasing away sorrows, bringing delight
In your warm embrace, we find our way
You brighten each and every new day

Thank you rain —for life you gently bestow
Nourishing the earth, helping all things grow
With your soothing touch, you cleanse the air
Reviving the world with the love you share

Thank you flowers —with colors so sublime
In your bloom, you make the world feel devine
Petals that dance in the softest breeze
You’re a symphony of nature’s melodies

Thank you trees —with branches that reach high
Under your shade, we find a peaceful sky
Your wisdom, strength, and timeless grace
Ground us in this ever-changing place

Thank you Mother Nature, we extend our praise
For your gifts that brighten all our days
In every leaf, in every drop, in every ray
Your love and beauty, we’ll forever convey
