Beforeword: As my birthMONTH draws to a close, here’s to a “Birthday to New Year Blessing”:

Happy New Year, with blessings fresh and clear
May the past’s end bring memories dear
Rich in meaning, to hold near

Is there anything new left, you say?
For the soul that sees wonder in everyday?
Still, may surprises brighten my way

And as my days stream onward, fast and bright
I pray they’re filled with novel delight
A chapter where my dreams take flight

May I feel deep in my spirit’s thrall
The blessings around me, big and small
With His life in me, I truly have it all

A Midas touch, soft yet strong
Inspiring hearts like a sweet song
For one who has had it all along

I pray for moments soft and slow
To bask in joy’s gentle glow
That His grace I’ll forever know

And as I sail life’s vast, loving sea
May laughter’s wind be ever free Lifting me where I’m meant to be

May there be happiness and festive cheer
A prayer each day to hold dear
Joy sprinkled with love throughout the year

Happy New Year to the Effervescent, Evolving Me!
