The Tiger & The Donkey ©Dawn Minott |a Limerick

Beforeword: I came across this image while scrolling through Facebook and it begged to be turned into poetry. A limerick is befitting!! Here goes …

Lion heard tiger and donkey

Argue grass is blue, how wonky

The tiger he fined

For being intertwined

In arguing with a donkey

Afterword: The moral of the poem— It’s pointless to argue with someone who is unwilling to see reason. Happy new week WPers!!
