Born with a purpose-tag on me

Living every day t’ward my destiny

Knowing tomorrow may not be

Living out loud every day I see

The choice is mine to love or hate

It’s so much better to give not take

Enjoy the sunshine as equally as the rain

Each note a harmony in life’s song refrain

***

When wake-from-sleep confirms there’s still life

Live life in peace, leave no room for strife

There’s still much more for me to do

Embracing each day like it’s all brand-new
