Waiting … ©Dawn Minott | a Dectina Refrain

Wait.

Time stills,

Shadows fade,

Hope takes its place.

Between then and now

Patience learns when and how

Each breath a quiet promise made

In the silence where dreams are laid

While promises tarry, faith steadfast

Wait—time stills, shadows fade, hope takes its place.
