He’s gone
She called it timing
But his patterns spoke truth to her
Now she sees
He keeps access, but not choosing
Why keep giving him the key
Choose you

Well-said! Love the sparseness of this, and such a striking image too.

This is deep. Often, we give so much away out of a kind heart. Soon, we get depleted whereas we should have chosen and prioritized ourselves and our happiness first. Then, out of the overflow from investing so much in ourselves, others benefit…from the overflow of self-love, overflow of self-attention, overflow of self-care, overflow of good financial investments and good times.

Absolutely Benjamin. And we often make excuses for other people’s inadequate actions toward us rather than accepting for what it is. You’re right living in the over-flow should be our aim. Thanks for stopping by.
